Chex Party Mix

6 sticks unsalted butter (1 1/2 pounds)

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons onion salt

2 tablespoons garlic salt

2 tablespoons celery salt

1 1/2 tablespoons Cayenne pepper

18 ounce box Rice Chex

18 ounce box Corn Chex

18 ounce box Cheerios

1 pound lightly salted mixed nuts

8 ounces unsalted peanuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Melt butter. Pour the butter into the baking pan. Add the Worcestershire sauce, onion salt, garlic salt, celery salt, and Cayenne, and mix well. Add cereal, half of a box at a time, stirring to coat cereal thoroughly after each addition. Add the nuts and mix well.

Cover the pan. Toast for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Keep the pan covered for the first 45 minutes. Then cook uncovered for the final 15 minutes.
